This past Thursday night, the Lady Panthers’ volleyball team celebrated their senior night. The seniors being recognized included Reina Nava, Jewelia Rivera, Ava Moore, Bella Visak, Michelle Vasquez, and Destiny Magaña. The seniors walked down the court with their families before taking on the East Chicago Cardinals for their last home game. The lady panthers took home the win 3-0. It was a very emotional, yet memorable game. As their season wraps up senior Bella Visak, co-captain tells us, “The beginning of this season was difficult because we had a lot of new girls and had to pull up younger girls but as the season went on, we continued to improve. I ended up having a lot of fun and couldn’t have asked for a better season!” The volleyball team will play their sectional game at Highland High School on Saturday, October 15th at 10AM.
