Mackey expressed his excitement and optimism about the season ahead. “This season will go great, with more wins than last year”, Mackey said. “This is the start of a great run. I hope we put our all into the rest of the games because this is my last year.”
Ultimately, the Griffith Panthers emerged victorious with the final score of 68-59, securing the Conference trophy and cementing their status as a team to watch this season.
