GRIFFITH, Ind. — Griffith High School senior Paige Hale has officially committed to Ball State University, where she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in legal studies.
Hale’s interest in law began in childhood when she and her mother would watch Law & Order together. That early exposure sparked a fascination with legal proceedings, which she nurtured in her teenage years by analyzing cases for fun.
Beyond academics, Hale has made a lasting impact on the Panther community through her leadership in theatre and passion for choir. Known for her strong work ethic and enthusiasm, she has consistently gone above and beyond to uplift her peers.
“Theatre is the way to go!” Hale said when asked what activities she would recommend to incoming freshmen. “I’ve been in theatre for six years and have met so many people with different personalities, making it easy to fit in.”
One of her fondest high school memories was playing Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. “That show was peak theatre for me. Seeing everyone have fun during tech week just made me happy,” she said.
As graduation approaches, emotions are running high for Hale, especially with the upcoming senior walk for the theatre program. She described the moment as “bittersweet” but left parting words of wisdom for the class of 2028.
“Coming into high school will be challenging, but try and do as much as you can before it’s too late,” she said.
Hale’s dedication and passion have left a mark on Griffith High School, and she looks forward to the next chapter of her journey at Ball State.
