GRIFFITH, Ind. — Senior Lucca Davis has set his sights on attending the University of North Georgia (UNG) to pursue a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs.
Davis, a student-athlete at Griffith High School, said his decision to attend UNG aligns with both his academic and athletic goals. He also hopes to pursue a future career in the Army.
“I’m very excited about my future at UNG, and I think their community fits me very well,” Davis said.
A dedicated student, Davis has maintained a 3.4 GPA while balancing his commitment to athletics. He has been a part of the Griffith Wrestling Program since seventh grade and has attended Griffith Public Schools since kindergarten.
Reflecting on his time at Griffith, Davis said some of his favorite memories include participating in the wrestling program, attending sporting events with friends, and spending time with classmates.
“These will be some of the best years of my life, and I’m very grateful for my time at Griffith,” Davis said.
As he prepares for the next chapter at UNG, Davis is optimistic about the opportunities that await him and is determined to achieve his goal of a successful career in the Army.
