GRIFFITH, Ind. — As the 2025 track and field season begins, the Griffith High School team is pushing itself harder than ever, with returning seniors aiming for a strong finish and newcomers hoping to make their mark.
The athletes are focused not only on improving their physical performance but also on building a culture of sportsmanship and dedication, both on the track and in the classroom.
“This season has more meaning than just staying in shape,” said girls track coach Mrs. Taylor. “My goals are to continue to grow our program by creating an environment that is fun yet competitive. I want to see the athletes set goals for themselves and work toward achieving those goals.”
Team members credit their progress to strong coaching and a supportive environment that fosters both athletic and personal growth. Practices are designed to challenge runners and prepare them for competitive meets while encouraging camaraderie and commitment.
With a mix of experienced runners and fresh talent, the Griffith track team hopes to achieve its goals and finish the season on a high note.
