Griffith’s High School football team has been helping the Middle School football team with practice at Griffith high school on Monday, May 12 to teach the kids skill then never learned.

The Griffith High school football team started helping the Middle school football team with practice. Some of the High school students feel good about helping the middle school. Football player Brian Maciata said, “I feels good that I am able to show the younger kid’s new things they never learned before, it makes you feel proud of yourself.” With the high schoolers and middle schoolers working together they can build bond for the future.
All the players get to know each other, the high schoolers also teach the middle school players important lessons like discipline and independence. The skills the older players teach the younger players are not only for football but for real life which is why it is important for the high schoolers to teach the middle schoolers these lessons.
This shows how caring the Griffith football program is and how much the older players want to see the younger players succeed. It also shows how dedicated the younger players are to learn and get better at the sport.
