About the Contributors
Parker Hecht, Broadcast/Tech Manager
Parker Hecht is a Junior here at Griffith High School, and is in his second year in Panther Press. He is the Tech Manager for the Press and is a pro at working the drone to record all of Griffith’s special moments. Parker joined Panther Press because he thought that it seemed fun and laid back. His favorite thing about being a part of Panther Press is doing all the different aspects and being busy. Parker is also an athlete as a pitcher for the GHS baseball team. If he could have any job, he would be an MLB player, which has been his dream since he was six years old. If anyone could describe Parker, they would say he is very outgoing and always smiling.
Jack Gaham, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Jack Gaham is a junior at Griffith High School, and is in his third year in Panther Press, now as Co-Editor-in-Chief. He joined Panther press to be a part of a group and to have a community. Outside of Panther Press, Jack is a host of the podcast “Panther Tales.” Jack, with co-host Parker Hecht, publishes the podcast to inform with weekly recaps and to update students about future activities in the school. He also enjoys expressing his creativity by crafting projects, writing stories and executing them. Because Jack is an A/B Honor Roll student, he holds himself to a higher standard than most. After high school, he plans on studying at IU Bloomington to get his doctorate in psychology.
Maxwell Schroader, Staff Reporter
Maxwell Schroader is a junior in Panther Press and many other extracurricular activities. This is his first year in Panther Press, and he is greatly enjoying writing stories and taking photos. Maxwell joined Panther Press because many of his friends were in it and he liked the idea of keeping the school informed about important issues. In his free time outside of school, he enjoys playing board games and video games with friends. Within his life, he would like to contribute something to society, likely through research as a materials scientist and by becoming involved with local politics.
