21 Savage Captured By ICE, What’s Next For Him?

  So-thought Atlanta-based rapper 21 Savage was caught by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) on February 3. He was originally born She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph in the United Kingdom. He moved to Atlanta, GA at the age of 7, then returned to the UK before coming back to Atlanta on a visa. The visa expired a year later, in 2006. Aften being arrested February 3, he was granted a bond on February 12. In early April, a hearing will be held regarding his deportation.

  “I was very shocked because I didn’t know he was British, and upset because it could have been easily avoided if he would have renewed his visa,” said senior Lena Mansour.

  21 Savage is popular for his songs “Bank Account”, “Rockstar”, and he recent album I Am> I Was, which was released December 21, 2018. Fans were devastated after his arrest due to delayed concerts and tours, and any new music that he may have been working on. Savage is well-known for his collaborations with other artists, and many of these works may stop.
