His next match was against Laish Detwiler from Goshen High School. Cervantes won the match 7-0.

The following match was the toughest Cervantes would face. His opponent was De’Alcapon Veazy from Fort Wayne Snider High School. Cervantes was pinned in the first period in a matter of 1 minute and 35 seconds.

His last match for 3rd place was a competitive one between Cervantes and Luke Penola from Zionsville High School. Cervantes put up a good fight, but couldn’t quite pull the win and lost 9-5.
