Amy Trezak is part of this year’s newest group of teachers at Griffith High School. She currently teaches the Panther Adult Program (PAP). Trezak taught in Hammond for 23 years before coming to Griffith for a fresh start. Trezak said, “I attended Griffith because I wanted a new adventure in life. It is always good to start over and begin something new.”
Trezak attended Ball State University for college and received her degree in Special Education K-12. During her junior year in high school, she decided working with kids that have special needs is the career she wanted to pursue. Ms. Trezak said, “Being able to help others succeed is what helps you succeed. My favorite part about teaching is working with all the amazing students and having an amazing staff to help me with my job.”
A fun fact about Ms. Trezak, she has been taking tap class lessons and is amazing at them!
