The Lady Panthers just came off a 2-2 draw with Highland while Bishop Noll went into the game with a 3-game winning streak. Shortly after the Bishop Noll score, Miriam Avalos scored a brace putting Griffith ahead 3-1, which ended as the final score. When asked about her contributions to the team as a freshman Avalos says, “It makes me feel good about myself and my soccer ability to have such a positive impact on my team and be able to help my team win games.” The Lady Panthers next matchup is a conference home game on Saturday against Hobart at noon.
