The Lady Panthers came out to the 2025 season, rolling past Boone Grove to achieve their first win of the season at home on November 5 in hopes of a start to a strong season.
The first game of the season was a rematch of last year’s game, where the Panthers played the Wolves, this time triumphing over them 53 to 22.
This year, the Panthers only have one senior listed on their roster, serving as the Team Captain as well: Morgan Von Ogden. “It was a good first game for us as a team, shutting them down offensively in the first half,” Von Ogden said. The Panthers kept this momentum coming out into the second half, outscoring the Wolves 16-3 in the third quarter, sealing the game before the fourth quarter.
The Panthers showed major improvement from last year, finishing with a 10-13 record compared to the prior year’s 3-19 record. “This year’s team looks great. We shined in a lot of areas, and there’s more that needs to be done,” head coach Kevin Ballard said. “Every game is part of the process, and we must stick with it the whole season to show off what hard work they have done.”
