Powder Puff Madness
On September 12th, the 7th annual powderpuff game with the Seniors vs. the Juniors was held on the field at Griffith High School. The game started at 6:00 pm and in just the first two minutes of the game, the Seniors executed a play that resulted in the first touchdown of the night. The Seniors’ score only went up from there, giving them a 24-0 lead at halftime. The Seniors’ defensive line worked well to stop the Juniors from scoring so that not even one touchdown was scored, and the ending result of the game was 30-0. This is one of the highest scores that there has ever been, and the Seniors celebrated in great fashion. The student section, dressed in white, tossed baby powder in the air and rushed the field. The Griffith Senior Class wants to thank the administration for making it possible to continue this tradition and wishes the juniors good luck next year!
