Undecided on what to watch on Netflix? There are tons of shows to watch in different genres. Many shows are new, and others are old, fan favorites. Here are some popular shows that are on Netflix right now.

The 100

   The 100 came out on March 14, 2014. It has five seasons. The 100 is about a nuclear Armageddon that destroys civilization on Earth, and the only survivors are those that are on the 12 international space stations in orbit. As years pass, their food and water supply become less and less, and they need to figure out a solution. The leaders of the ark (a spaceship where they live) decide to send 100 juvenile prisoners back to the planet to test its habitability. The juveniles never have seen the planet Earth from the ground before, so once they landed, they find it fascinating and terrifying. They must make their own path into the unknown.

Prison Break

   Prison Break came out on August 29, 2005. The show has five seasons. The main character, Michael Scofield, tries to help his innocent older brother, Lincoln Burrows, from being put on death row for a crime he didn’t commit. Scofield decided to hold up a bank to get himself behind bars alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. Scofield will then set a series of elaborate plans to break his brother Lincoln out and prove his innocence. The brothers must flee to escape recapture and battle a political conspiracy that puts everyone’s life at risk. 

The Haunting of Hill House

   The Haunting of Hill House came out on October 12, 2018. It has one season. This Netflix show is about siblings that lived in what is now known as the most haunted house in the country, but  now adults, they’re forced back together in the face of tragedy and must finally confront the ghosts of their past. They know that the ghosts will be in their minds, and others will be following behind them. 

Friends

   Friends came out on September 22, 1994. The show includes 10 seasons. Three young men and three young women, who are all best friends, live in the same apartment complex, and face life and love in New York. 

Mind Hunter

   Mind Hunter came out on October 13, 2017. It has one season. Two FBI agents, Holden Ford and Bill Tench attempt to catch serial criminals by studying their damaged psyches. Along the way, the agents pioneer the development of modern serial-killer profiling.

You

   You came out on December 26, 2018. It has only one season. It’s about a charming yet awkward crush who wants to become something more than friends. Using social media and the internet, he uses whatever he can to become close to her. He makes sure he moves every obstacle, including people, that stands in his way of becoming closer to her.
